SoDo warehouse turns to tennis?

SEATTLE — At 3301 Sixth Ave. S., CBRE has been seeking to fill an empty SoDo warehouse. It offers about 32,586 square feet. And last week came a new plan for an unexpected change of use: indoor tennis.

Ronhovde Architects filed the proposal on behalf of Pro Tennis Seattle, which offers coaching and classes around the region — but doesn't yet have a permanent base of operations. The tenant improvements would yield six courts, with the small mezzanine to become a lounge with snack service. Surface parking would have 54 stalls.
