Black box theater set for Wallingford

SEATTLE — An industrial building at 3631 Interlake Ave. N. sold via an LLC in March to a local theater professional, Max Sarkowsky. Now we have a new plan for the 8,510-square-foot building, which dates to 1969.

Architect ORA submitted the proposal this week. For what’s now dubbed ExoArts Theatre, it calls for a comprehensive full-building renovation “to accommodate black box theatre and related support spaces.” There’s not yet a website for the project, which could accommodate various performing arts groups and shows.
