Why the new Bed Bath & Beyond data center plan is also an old plan

Again, the DJC must wade back into the data center debate. Digital Realty, a large REIT, filed a proposal in late May to alter the existing underground data center within downtown’s Securities Building block. With a garage /retail complex at its north end, the block has long been owned by Clise Properties. The Securities Building is landmarked; the garage and retail are not.
