Sierra to build 172 Redmond units for active seniors

Urbal says the brick-clad building design takes inspiration from historic Boston brownstones.

At the very end of 2024, the DJC first reported on a midrise apartment plan in downtown Redmond. From the same ownership group behind the nearby Hilton Garden Inn, here working with Urbal Architecture, it’s to replace a cluster of old houses (mostly converted to offices). The city places the 1.9-acre assemblage at 16701 N.E. 79th St., directly west of Anderson Park.
