Duwamish area data center plan doubles in size

  • Move comes as nationwide spending on data center construction surpassed the dollars put into new office development.

    The project entered review with a nominal value of $220 million; it’s now nearly twice the size.

    As the DJC first reported in April, landowner Carlyle Group is proposing a large data center just south of the Spokane Street Viaduct.
