U District crane count drops to zero

The Metro 5000 doesn’t yet have a TCO, but is pre-leasing for the fall.

During the University District boom in student-oriented apartment projects, which followed the 2017 upzone, cranes flourished, towers rose, the light-rail station opened, and off-campus housing options proliferated for families willing to pay market-rate rents for their kids.
