July 9, 2026
Next Thursday, July 16 will offer a rare opportunity to peer inside the famous former Weyerhaeuser headquarters building in Federal Way. That's been owned for the past decade by Industrial Realty Group, which is steadily adding new industrial buildings on the 425-acre campus, now dubbed the Woodbridge Corporate Park. The coming tour is a mixer organized by CREDA Washington (the successor to NAIOP), and is open to members and non-members alike. Says the host, “Mingle with commercial real estate professionals from across the region, enjoy great food and drinks, and take in the campus on a summer afternoon, with an informal look around the grounds and brief remarks from the IRG team.” Of course, attendees will be most interested in the iconic 55-year-old HQ building designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill — often called a horizontal skyscraper. Leasing materials say those 337,604 square feet are still vacant. Details and registration: http://credawa.org
