22 affordable units set for Squire Park

SEATTLE — Norman Mitchell Manor, at 165 14th Ave., has been providing affordable housing since 1998. Its two-story building sits on the corner of Spruce Street, with 22 units.

Now there's a plan to use most of the parking lot for a new seven-story, 22-unit building. Architect Environmental Works submitted the early proposal in June. Design review isn't required. Units are to run from studios to two-beds, with support services and community areas on the ground floor.
