A now bare corner at 1103 N.W. Market St. seemed bound for redevelopment in recent years, as a handsome five-story, 44-unit apartment project gradually took shape. Related firms Chair6 Development and architect SarMerr Design intended to buy the corner, at 11th Avenue Northwest near Gilman Playfield, but the land never sold.
