In a rare Mercer Island sale, for $157M, Mesirow makes big TOD bet

Island Square is a few short steps away from Mercer Island Station.

Occupying nearly a full block on Mercer Island, the mixed-use Island Square sold this week for $157 million, according to King County records. The seller at 2758 78th Ave. S.E. was United Dominion Realty LP, of Colorado, which under a different name acquired the property in 2008 for about $112 million. It was then about two years old.
