Bellevue drops speeds to 20 mph

By JOURNAL STAFF

BELLEVUE — The city of Bellevue will lower the speed limit on local neighborhood streets from 25 mph to 20 mph, with new signs expected to begin going up today.

City officials said the change will take effect immediately as signs are installed, with no warning period for drivers.
