SpaceX to build $100B Louisiana spaceport, its largest launch site yet

    Louisiana officials say the site provides access to abundant natural gas and the ability to launch to a wide range of trajectories.

    ABBEVILLE, La. — Elon Musk's space company plans to spend $100 billion to build a massive new spaceport in Louisiana to launch rockets, state officials and the company announced Tuesday.
