More new homes for Rainier Valley

SEATTLE — The Seattle Office of Housing (OH) has selected Habitat for Humanity Seattle-King & Kittitas Counties and Jabooda Cares to develop new affordable homes on surplus land at 6701 Martin Luther King Jr. Way S. in Rainier Valley.

This award will create 18 permanently affordable homes for purchase. When completed, the development will include 14 two-bedroom homes and four three-bedroom homes at a deeply affordable price for households with incomes up to 80% of the area median income. The development will also have a ground floor community space.
