Port of Bellingham seeks fresh eyes for Waterfront District redevelopment

Irish developer Harcourt has exited the Port of Bellingham's big rolling redevelopment of its former Georgia-Pacific property. (It acquired the plant in 2005.) The port's original blue-sky vision was to create perhaps 2 million square feet of new mixed-use construction. Current signage on the site says 500,000 square feet is now more likely.
