What's Ryder? That name emerged after High Street Residential began work two years ago, a little north of Roosevelt Station, on that 244-unit apartment project. The seven-story building is expected to open late next month. CBRE's Lourdes Valdesuso is brokering the corner commercial bay, at Northeast 68th, which offers 1,268 square feet. This week came the announcement that the local Pilates studio FLX will take the entire space, and hopes to open in January. Proprietor Rachel La said in a statement, “FLX is excited to expand to the Roosevelt neighborhood.” Its current outpost is in Greenwood. Ryder is being built by Chinn Construction; Weinstein AU is the architect. High Street's Alan Cantlin said in a statement, “By bringing a locally owned wellness and fitness concept to the property, we're enhancing the experience not only for our future residents, but also for the broader Seattle community.”
