Principal pays over $56M for Sammamish retail/residential combo

Pagliacci Pizza is one of the retail tenants.

The mixed-use Saffron development, on the Sammamish Plateau, traded last week for $56.5 million, according to King County records. The seller at 22850 N.E. Eighth St. was Saffron Partners LLC, which is associated with original developer Tarragon. It apparently assembled the land at some point during the 1990s, for an undetermined amount.
