Nordstrom ventures back into downtown San Francisco

The new Rack should open in the fall of next year.

Nordstrom announced last week that it's returning to downtown San Francisco, with a lease signed at the triangular 2 Stockton St. building, in the Union Square area. The retailer had closed its flagship store, about a block south, in 2023 — after 34 years at that location.
