Weidner acquires Juanita Bay neighbor

By JOURNAL STAFF

KIRKLAND — A Michaels art-supply store at 9755 N.E. Juanita Drive sold last week for $8.5 million, according to King County records. The seller, via an LLC, was a local family that acquired the property in 1997 for $1.3 million.

The buyer was WA Juanita and 98th LLC, associated with Weidner Apartment Homes, which has its offices next door. No new plans have been filed.
