Real Estate Buzz: Microsoft buys Nintendo land for $42M

Microsoft has purchased from Nintendo of America 26.5 acres in the Overlake area adjacent to Microsoft's Redmond West Campus, according to public records.
The sale price for the parcel at 148th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 51st Street is $42 million. That equates to about $1.6 million an acre or about $36 a square foot.
