Yes, apartment rents are increasing for the first time in nearly two years and vacancies are continuing to fall in King and Snohomish counties, but it will be another five years before values return to 2006 levels.
That's the prediction of Greg Wendelken, Marcus & Millichap's regional manager in Seattle. So agents in his office are advising clients who plan to sell in the next five years to “take their bitter medicine now.”
