Real Estate Buzz: Blume ‘optimistic' about 1100 Eastlake

Word on the street is that The Blume Co. has a buyer for 1100 Eastlake, the largely vacant office and life-sciences building overlooking Lake Union in Seattle. The rumored buyer: Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
We should know soon if the talk is true. Brokers say they're hearing that a deal, if it happens, will close today or tomorrow.
