Light rail won't get to Mountlake Terrace until 2023, but that hasn't stopped plans for new transit oriented development.
The suburban city wants better roads and parks and to create a walkable neighborhood east of Interstate 5 near the Mountlake Terrace transit station. Developers already are on board, with both housing and commercial projects.
