On the Block: Nitze-Stagen mulls major mixed-use Opportunity Zone project on Rainier
There's a long, low-slung industrial building on Rainier Avenue South at South Bush Place. Rising two stories above Rainier is the landmarked former Black Manufacturing Building, aka the Manus Building, aka the 1130 Building. That property includes a parking garage to its north.
North of that are two small commercial properties that lead to South Charles Street. On that corner, San Fernando Roasted Chicken is the most prominent landmark.
