Compass Housing owns the old Bethlehem Lutheran Church building in Columbia City, at 3818 S. Angeline St. The building now houses Columbia City Church of Hope. Now, as with so many other old, underutilized churches in Seattle, there's a plan to knock it down.
In its place, however, there's a new five-story, 100-unit affordable housing plan from the nonprofit El Centro de la Raza, which will also include a childcare center and offices for support staff.
