It was one of those curious coincidences that sometimes occurs just when interest rates are headed up. Folks always seem to flood lender offices seeking to refinance their home loans when rates are on the rise because they believe the bottom has already been hit. Hurry and lock now, they say, before the numbers rise even more bringing with them higher monthly payments.
