I have a nephew, Willy, who is a sophomore at UCLA. He's a wonderful youngster who is full of life, swings from the heels and can't wait to take on new challenges. One of the few times I had ever seen Willy stymied occurred last spring when he discovered he did not have enough credit to enroll in an upper-level history class he dearly wanted to take this fall. So, he scoured the summer schedule of classes, willing to accept any class that was "a mick" and one that would fit nicely into his summer slate of light work and heavy play.
