I once knew an older man who painted one side of his house every year. Just after Memorial Day weekend, he'd bring out his precious, four-inch paint brush, duck into the garage to the familiar shelf that held the five-gallon bucket of light blue house paint and then spend one week of June nights after work meticulously refreshing the designated side.
