No, Alex Rodriquez never bought a downtown condo. While there were many sightings of the former Mariner star shortstop near several buildings, he typically rented during the baseball months at the Harbor Steps, a high-rise apartment complex not far from the waterfront. He'd often pop in to Wolfgang Puck Cafe on First Avenue, then bop up to Belltown to shoot some pool.
