Raymond Attisha has been promoted to leasing associate in the Norman Company's Leasing Services Group. Attisha will work with the leasing services team in processing new lease transactions, maintaining current leases and locating potential tenants for new properties managed by the Norman Company. His primary focus will be for the Bank of California Center, the company's latest leasing and management assignment.
Windermere has annouced the addition of four new associates. Marsha Mugaas has joined the Queen Anne office. Diane Simpson joins the Windermere-Sand Point office as an associate broker. Simpson has practiced real estate since 1990, working with John L. Scott. Peggy Uskevich returns to Windermere as a associate broker for the West Seattle office after working with John L. Scott for five years. Charlene Towne joins West Seattle-Faunlteroy as a sales associate. Towne returns to Windermere after two years with Cayce & Gain.
Qpoint International has annouced the additon of George Charles to its corporate staff as Vice President/Franchise Development. Charles has been with Washington Mutural for the past seven years specializing in residential, custom construction, spec construction and apartment lending. He brings 16 years experience in the industry as well as his experites in the areas of technology, business, real estate and overall customer service.
Bill Mundy, president of Mundy & Associates, Seattle, has been elected to serve a three-year term on the Board of Directors of the Counselors of Real Estate, the professional consulting affiliate of the National Association of Realtors. Mundy specializes in real estate market and economic research, litigation research, and appraisal in regard to conservation, preservation, and contaminated properties. He has served as a member of the Education and Seminar Development Committees. The Counselors of Real Estate is an international group of seasoned real estate practitioners who provide advisory services to clients.
Marjorie Gorodko has been named managing broker of the Coldwell Banker Bain Associates' North Bend sales team. She is directing a new team composed of associates of the former Coldwell Banker Chic Realty, North Bend, and of the Eastside Realty,Inc. office in North Bend. Both firms were acquired by Coldwell Banker Bain in late 1995. Gorodko was named Eastside Realtor of the Year by the Seattle-King County Association of Realtors for 1993.
ASPIRE, a not-for-profit organization, presents Rehab Homes for Resale. Jim Stacey, author of Washington Real Estate, will discuss rehabbing homes for resale and various aspects of doing it profitably. John Suryan is the founder and president of Office Space Online. His previous experience in commercial real estate includes 10 years at the Norman Company, a full service commercial real estate firm headquarted in Seattle. Suryan worked as an auditor for the accounting firm Main Hurdman, now part of KPMG, Pete Marwick. David Ross, chief operating officer, comes to Office Space Online with more than 10 years experience in the computer industry. Ross will manage database and website issues. Previously, Ross was the vice president of operations of Medio Multimedia, Inc., a startup software company and Internet access provider.
