Lease Crutcher Lewis

Three new accounting staff members were recently hired at Lease Crutcher Lewis. Tom Dilts is the company's new controller, Sue Bernardo is its accounting supervisor and Phil Ogdee is its accounting manager. Dilts has 16 years of accounting and finance experience, and holds a masters' degree in finance and bachelor's degree in economics, both from the University of Illinois. Bernardo holds a degree in finance from the University of Hawaii, and Ogdee holds a bachelor's degree from Pan American University. Both hold CPA designations.

Colliers

Kim Marvik has joined the Tacoma office of Colliers International as a vice president in the office properties division. Marvik previously worked 18 years with William Riley & Company, representing their commercial office properties. In the Bellevue office, Mark Anderson has joined as a commercial real estate agent, specializing in retail leasing and investment sales. Prior to joining Colliers, Anderson was vice president of Radford and Company.

Commercial Brokers Association

Marianne Christian-Griffith has been elected president of the Commercial Brokers Association for the 1998-1999 term. The owner of a commercial real estate and consulting firm in Kirkland, Christian-Griffith specializes in acquisition and dispositions, site selection and contract negotiations for regional and national corporations. The CBA is a member-owned, non-profit multiple listing association for commercial real estate in the Northwest. The association has more than 560 offices and more than 1,900 members.

Continental Savings Bank

Pat Leach has been promoted to executive vice president of Continental Savings Bank's Property Finance Department. Leach joined the company in 1985. She most recently served as senior vice president of the bank's Income Property Finance division. Also at Continental, in the Continental Mortgage Company and Windermere Mortgage Services subsidiaries, eight loan officers have been named to the President's Club for being in the top 10 percent of producers in 1997. They are: David Hatlen and Ken Steiner with Continental Mortgage in Seattle; and Les Allen and David Doherty in Bellevue. Top producers for Windermere Mortgage were John Herbert in Redmond, Doug Ward in Bellevue West, and Patti Culbert in Bellevue South. Kevin Suther was the top commercial loan producer for the company's Income Property Finance Department with an approximate loan volume of $70 million.

Lynnwood Mortgage

Stephanie Santeford-Jones has joined Lynnwood Mortgage Corporation as a loan officer at its Everett Branch. She formerly worked at Everettt Mutual Bank, where she was a loan officer in consumer and commercial lending. At Lynnwood Santeford-Jones will work with builders and new home buyers. She has seven years' experience in the industry.

Coldwell Banker Bain

A 27-person army of new sales agents has joined Coldwell Banker Bain offices in the Seattle area. Bob Brodhagen and Connie Brodhagen have joined the Bellevue branch. Lori Baker, Terence Cohen, Jay Hodge, Judith Schaeffer and Cathy Utoft have joined the Bellevue East office. The Kirkland office has gained Cathy Hohmann, Rebecca Howes, George Runnels, Randy Tefft and Susan Vitz. In North Bend, David Jenkins is the newcomer. Pam Rankin has joined the Seattle Metro-Capitol Hill branch. Redmond has gained Celeste Goodwyn, Danny Goodwyn, Janet Rogers and Melrose Woodson. In Seattle the Metro-Lake Union office has hired Judith Ryan, Joyce Miner, Chris Hutchings and Rob Potashnick. Kathy Wangen and Dee Carlson have joined the Mercer Island office. And in Issaquah, Toni Slaymaker, John Lalanne and Lisa Bonrud are the new workers.

John L. Scott

Nine new sales agents have joined the Laurelhurst office of John L. Scott Real Estate. They are Brett Frosaker, Jennifer Gilreath, Susie Hutchinson, Shprintze Kavka, Jim Kuehlthau, Maria Levis, John McKillop, Michael Rooney and Liza Blume Zeimer.

The Mercer Island office of Windermere Real Estate has added Nancy Sung to its sales staff.

Seattle home repair, weatherization program

Seattle's Department of Housing and Human Services has launched a new single-family housing program to help low- to moderate-income tenants and homeowners meet their energy efficiency and home repair needs. Called REACH, the program will provide free weatherizing to any homes of one to four units provided the owner or tenant meets certain income guidelines. Installation is by a licensed and bonded contractor and carries a labor and materials warranty. The program also provides financing for up to $40,000 worth of home improvement or emergency repairs, using loans at 3 percent interest. In addition, REACH offers "Green Grants" of up to 7 percent of a loan amount for purchase of water- or energy-efficient appliances, for windows or for projects that use less toxic or more recycled materials. NAIOP property tour

The magic school bus of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties will hit the road again May 14 with a tour of new developments in north King and south Snohomish counties. The tour begins at the Redhook Brewery in Woodinville and continues on to Bothell, Redmond, Everett and Seaway. Check-in is at 10:30 a.m. with departure at 11. The bus returns to a networking event at the brewery at 4 p.m. Cost of the tour is $40 for NAIOP members or employees of member firms; or $50 for non-members and those without reservations. Sanofi leases space in Woodinville

Sanofi Diagnostics Pasteur, Inc. has leased 41,400 square feet in the Ridgewood Corporate Park in Woodinville. The firm will convert the space to a manufacturing and distribution center for $10 million. The project is an expansion for the company, which will add 30 employees to its base of 160 in the area. Sanofi Diagnostics Pasteur is a division of Sanofi, a global healthcare company headquartered in Paris. The unit specializes in marketing blood virus diagnostics, clinical microbiology diagnostics and diagnostic tests for infectious diseases. The company's U.S. headquarters is in Redmond. It operates two other manufacturing and distribution centers in the Seattle area.
