Seattle general contractor Lease Crutcher Lewis has hired four employees for administrative and information technology positions. Jeff Busch has joined the company's Information Technology department, Amy Rowe is an operations assistant for the Special Projects Division, Cheri Chelsea is an administrative assistant and Sally Hamshaw is a general office assistant. Busch is a graduate of St. Olaf College in Minnesota. He also served in the Peace Corps in Panama and taught software courses for Adams Career Solutions. Rowe studied at Washington College in Maryland and the College of Charleston in South Carolina. Chelsea attended Highline Community College, where she learned administration and computers. Hamshaw has retail management experience and once owned a clothing store.

Ingrid Campbell has been hired as director of marketing for Schweitzer Mountain in Sandpoint, Idaho, according to Harbor Resorts. She will be responsible for all marketing and sales activities. She previously was director of marketing at Mountain Creek Ski Area in Vernon, N.J. Harbor Resorts is a subsidiary of Harbor Properties of Seattle.
Rob Purser has joined Quadrant Homes, the residential division of Quadrant Corp., as assistant vice president of land acquisitions. He has 18 years of development and construction experience. He will manage all off of Quadrant Homes' land acquisitions and entitlements plus forecast target areas, product type, mix and pricing. He previously was president of PSC Inc., a land-use consulting firm in Bothell. The Quadrant Corp., is a subsidiary of Weyerhaeuser Real Estate Co.
Bellevue-based Bennett Corp., has changed its named to Bennett Development to reflect the company's focus on acquisition and development of land for use as infill subdivisions, multifamily projects, assisted-living developments and commercial buildings. Bennett Development is concentrating on the Bellevue and greater Eastside market. The name of a company should reflect what it does best, said owner and longtime Eastside developer Todd Bennett. Bennett Development's current portfolio of 14 projects includes Heritage Corporate Center, a 53,000-square-foot commercial building in the Overlake area of Bellevue; Heritage Townhomes, a 52-unit project in Newcastle; an Old Bellevue redevelopment site; and an array of infill subdivisions throughout the Eastside.
Norris Beggs & Simpson has been named the exclusive leasing agent for Lynnwood Corporate Center II, 4100 194th St. S.W., just off Interstates 5 and 405. Owned by Olympic Capital Group, the 68,000-square-foot, four-story building is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2000. Norris, Beggs & Simpson Associate Vice President Louis Zonta will be responsible for the marketing and leasing of the facility. In other news, Joe Baer of Norris Beggs & Simpson's Capital Asset Group recently helped complete two multi-family deals by representing the sellers. Julie Grant sold the 12-unit Creekside Apartments in Burien to David Weaver for $675,000, and Bob and Robby McMahon sold the 15-unit Highland House Apartments in Renton to Keith Gosney for $960,000. According to Norris, Beggs & Simpson, Baer continues his 1999 tear as he leads the Bellevue office in production numbers.
Chris Doty of the Bellevue office of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Brokerage Co., represented HDO Investments when it recently sold the 32-unit Parthenon Apartments, 304/306 15th St. S.E., in Auburn for $710,000. Marty Higgins of Marcus & Millichap represented Jay Kechloian, who recently bought the 21-unit Lakeview Terrace, 418 75th St. S.E., in Everett from Wang Yi for $890,000.
Tracey Lewis-Schneider has joined Lynnwood Mortgage Corp.'s Everett branch as a loan officer. She has 10 years of mortgage banking experience and previously worked for Norwest Mortgage in Snohomish. She specializes in first-time and low-income home buyers.
Randy Houston and Arturo Gonzalez have joined the University branch of Seattle Mortgage Co. As loan officers, the two will originate and complete residential mortgage loans for the company. Gonzalez is a certified Spanish translator and wants to focus on providing mortgage loans to low- and moderate-income families, especially Latinos. He will present seminars for first-time home buyers. Houston trained with a loan officer at the British Columbia Institute of Technology Development Office. Marcia Lightfoot has joined the Mercer Island branch of Seattle Mortgage as a credit union account manager. She has more than 20 years of mortgage lending experience with mortgage companies and credit unions. Seattle Mortgage Services has provided a $2 million construction loan for a 12-unit condominium project in the Ravenna neighborhood of Seattle. The project is in the 9700 block of Ravenna Avenue. Units are selling for between $229,500 and $249,950.
Tim Baker has joined Windermere Real Estate as a sales associate in the company's Queen Anne office in Seattle. Previously he worked at MacPherson's Better Homes & Gardens in Seattle.
