Dan Lowen is a loan officer in Newmark Realty Capital's Seattle office. He helps place construction and permanent loans from institutional lenders, including life insurance companies, pension funds, government sponsored agencies, and commercial and investment banks. He has executed more than $1 billion in commercial real estate investment, and previously worked at Caerus Realty Capital, Bentall Kennedy and Urdang Capital Management.

Capitol Hill Housing of Seattle hired David Dologite as director of real estate and sustainable communities. Dologite is a lawyer and was senior project manager for the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corp. of San Francisco. At CHH he will oversee day-to-day operations and new development. CHH says it has an “active pipeline” of future projects. It is exploring creation of an ecodistrict on Capitol Hill, and is involved in transit-oriented development at the light rail station.

James M. Keating rejoined Grubb & Ellis' Seattle office as senior vice president of the office group. Keating spent more than three years as a senior VP with Jones Lang LaSalle, where he was the Seattle office's top producer in 2009 and a top achiever nationally last year. Keating started with Grubb in 1986.
The Institute of Real Estate Management's forecast breakfast is set for 7:30 a.m. Friday at the Seattle Westin. Dale Gruen of BlackRock Real Estate is the keynote speaker. Jim DeLisle, director of Real Estate Studies at the University of Washington, will give a presentation on the outlook for the region at the International Council of Shopping Centers' meeting at the Westin Bellevue Dec. 13 starting at 5 p.m. Tim Jackson, ICSC's Alaska and Washington state directior, and Wallace Properties' senior executive of acquisitions and development, will discuss ICSC's 2012 events.
