RE/MAX Pacific Northwest Inc. has recently added Nikkol Nagle and Suzanne Morris to its regional staff. Nagle will serve as the public relations assistant in the advertising and public relations department. She will be responsible for event planning, media relations and producing promotion materials. Morris will serve as the regional financial analyst. Her responsibilities will include account payables and receivables, analyzing statistical data and producing statistical reports.

Michael Chamberlin, John L. Scott Real Estate, Seattle, has been named among the top "Megabrokers of the Northwest" by Unique Homes - a national magazine of luxury real estate.

Numerous real estate companies in the Pacific Northwest have recently affiliated with the Windermere Real Estate network. The Norman Company

The Norman Company, a Seattle-based commercial real estate firm, has recently assisted The Ashforth Company out of Stamford, Conn. on the acquisition of 600,000 square feet of office space on a 20-acre site in Portland, Oregon. In the deal that closed Sept. 28, The Ashforth Company acquired six office buildings and several future development sited from PacifiCorp, a Portland-based diversified utility services company.

Commercial Real Estate Women

Commercial Real Estate Women-Northwest will feature Elizabeth Wilson and David Stedman at its Nov. 8 luncheon. Wilson and Stedman, project manager and marketing director, respectively, of the Redmond Town Center project, will present the progress being made on this large Winmar Company project. Washington State University

Three executives from Trillium Corp. have been named Washington State University's Fall De Young executive-in-residence program. The Bellingham-based company acquires, develops and manages a portfolio of real estate and natural resource assets in the United States, Canada and Chile with a value approaching $500 million. Chairman and chief executive officer David Syre, a 1964 WSU graduate who founded and owns Trillium, and co-presidents Steve Brinn and Erik Anderson will be on the Pullman campus Oct. 26 and 27 to visit classes and share their company's story with students. As part of that visit, the trio will present a public program, "Entrepreneurial Leadership, Artistry and Hope," at 8 p.m. on Oct. 26 in the Todd Hall Annex, Room 276. The executive-in-residence program, established in 1973 and later sponsored by the Dennis DeYoung family of Kirkland, brings regional, national and international business leaders to WSU.

The Lakemont Company

The Lakemont Company, a new real estate brokerage firm catering to upper-end homebuyers and homebuilders, has opened in Bellevue. Chuck Madison, a principal in the company, was president of East West Partners in Bellevue and project manager for the Lakemont community. Joining Madison in the new venture are Scott Cameron, marketing and sales manager of the Lakemont community, and Harry Frampton III, chairman of East West Partners and a partner in the Vail/Beaver Creek, Col., brokerage firm of Silfer, Smith & Frampton.

Windermere

The Windermere Services Company is restructuring its leadership. The restructuring plan will allow for shared decision-making by a leadership committee that includes Jim Shapiro, chief executive officer, and four co-presidents: Brian Allen, Maria Bunting, Bill Feldman and Jeanne Grainger. Windermere Real Estate also added two new sales associates to offices in the Seattle area. They include: Sandi Lancaster, Burien and Tooley Woods, Federal Way.

Cushman & Wakefield

Cushman & Wakefield recently completed a multiple-party lease transaction for The Boeing Company and Spieker Properties. Boeing was able to proceed with consolidation plans by terminating leases in four warehouses in the Kent Valley Industrial Park one and one-half years early. Spieker, the landlord, benefited because Cushman & Wakefield found new tenants, US Shippers, Alexander Trading and Tasco, who signed long-term lease renewals for 453,000 square feet of space.

Kirkland office building 100% leased

The Houghton View Building, located at 815 Sixth St. S. in Kirkland, is now 100 percent leased. The building is owned by Sedorco Property Partnership. Tenants include Allstate, JR Engineering, Fire Safety, Industrial Visual Communications and NW Citrus.

The Norman Company

Through its subsidiary, Norman Realty Services Inc., The Norman Company has been appointed by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court as the liquidating agent for the property management, leasing and sale of the 510,000-square-foot Bank of California Center in downtown Seattle.

Home buying seminar

Cornerstone Home Loan Center is offering a free home buying seminar on Oct. 19, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, at 906 Everett Mall Way, in Everett. The Washington State Housing Commission will sponsor several free home buyer education seminars in the Seattle area. Seminars, which provide training to those intersected in purchasing a first home, will be held throughout October and November.
