TCI Media Services/Puget Sound has hired Leta Beck and JayDee Jepsen as account executives for TV Mart, the company's real estate and auto advertising channel. Beck is based in Tacoma and will handle real estate and auto advertising sales in Pierce County. Jepsen is responsible for those sales in King and Snohomish counties.

Preston Gates & Ellis announced five new attorneys. Robert Dzielak is a new associate in litigation. John R. Knapp Jr. and Ben Orndorff are new associates in business. Maja Chaffe is a new associate involved in business and real estate and Anthony Miles is a new associate, first year.

Northwest Lodging

Jim Marsh, former member of the Portland Trailblazers basketball team, has been named senior director of the Preferred Client Group of Northwest Lodging. The Seattle-based company operates properties in Washington, Oregon, Arizona and Texas. Marsh has been vice president of sports marketing for Bank of America.

East Gates Ministries

East Gates Ministries International, a non-profit organization active in China, named David J. Dove to a two-year term as chairman of the board. He is a real estate attorney with Ryan, Swanson & Cleveland in Seattle.

CB Richard Ellis

Jason Webb has joined CB Richard Ellis and will focus on the sale and leasing of Eastside commercial properties. Before joining the Bellevue office of his new firm, CB Richard Ellis officials say Webb was a top producer at BT Office Products International where he specialized in new business acquisitions and customer relations.

Nitze-Stagen

Kevin Daniels has been named president of Nitze-Stagen & Co., a real estate development and property management firm based in Seattle. Daniels had been principal and chief operating officer. Former President Frank Stagen now is vice chairman and chief executive officer of the company. Daniels said the titles were shifted to reflect the individuals' duties. Daniels is responsible for acquistion, finance, development and asset management for the company's West Coast holdings, as well as its property management contracts. The Nitze-Stagen portfolio includes the 2-million-square-foot Starbucks Center, the 1.3-million-square-foot Union Station Corporate Campus, Merrill Place in Pioneer Square and management of the Frye Art Museum Trust properties.

Preston Gates & Ellis

John A. Gose, a partner at the Seattle-based law firm Preston Gates & Ellis, has been selected as a member of The Counselors of Real Estate (CRE). He is one of the founders and a past president of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and a former chairman of the Real Property Probate & Trust Section of the American Bar Association. He is a graduate of the University of Washington Law School and is the senior lawyer in his firm's real estate department. CRE is an international group of high-profile real estate professionals who advise clients on complex real property and land-related matters.

Pinnacle Realty

Seattle-based Pinnacle Realty Management Co. has become more active in the West and is expanding in the East. Until this year, Pinnacle had only a small presence in California but has added more than 3,000 apartment units to its Golden State management portfolio. Leasing and brokerage efforts have included seven multifamily and commercial transactions totaling $100 million. Pinnacle officials credit West Region President Scott Mencaccy and his team for the growth and say their work is a major factor in the company's decision to merge the West and Southwest regions with Mencaccy at the helm. On the opposite coast, longtime Orlando, Fla., real estate executive Robert Hold has been named president of Pinnacle's newly expanded East region. He oversees operations in 21 states.

Blatteis & Schnur

Blatteis Realty Co., the San Francisco-based company that recently opened an office in Seattle, has formed a subsidiary called Blatteis & Schnur to focus on the leasing of retail, restaurant and entertainment spaces. The move was made to recognize the contributions of partner Robert Schnur and focus on Blatteis clients' plans for national expansions. The new subsidiary, which has a tenant and project/landlord focus, will spearhead Blatteis' plans to expand into other major retail markets. Blatteis serves as the chief leasing agent for clients that will appear on the Blatteis & Schnur roster. Among clients exclusively represented by Blatteis are Planet Hollywood, Cheesecake Factory and California Pizza Kitchen.

Marcus & Millichap

Six Shooter Investment Corp. has sold two Food Depot buildings -- one in Prosser and the other in Okanogan -- for a total of $4.6 million to Ross Oil Co. Broker Raymond Spencer of Marcus & Millichap's Bellevue office represented the seller in negotiations for the single-tenant buildings.

LION

Mercer Island-based Lenders Interactive Online Network, an Internet portal for the mortgage industry, has surpassed 5,000 members. LION officials estimate this gives the company a 10 percent market share of mortgage broker firms. LION's http://www.lioninc.com provides a database of mortgage rate and fee information.

Windermere Real Estate

Seattle-based Windermere is collaborating with 19 western United States real estate brokerages, which specialize in vacation and second homes, to launch Sea, Sun & Snow magazine. The magazine complements the Web site http://www.seasunandsnow.com and features full-color photography and information on more than 100 destination properties across the West. A free issue is available while supplies last by contacting Windermere offices or completing an online form at the Web site's What's New page.
