Michael Boss has joined Windermere Real Estate's Property Management-Seattle office. He had been a senior property manager with Seavest Realty in Seattle for seven years. Karla Hulse is a new sales agent at the Queen Anne office.
Employees of Sabey Corp., worked with fourth-graders in Tukwila on the Salmon in the Classroom, a state salmon release program. Students watched salmon eggs hatch and grow into fry in their classroom fish tanks before releasing 150 fry into Riverton Creek. Sabey employees have worked on the program for six years.

John Adams has joined Shea Homes as Northwest regional director of acquisitions and community development. Adams was with Port Blakely Communities, where he managed development of several large projects, including the 500-unit Woodside residential development east of Renton and portions of Issaquah Highlands. Shea Homes is the builder of Trilogy at Redmond Ridge. Adams managed preliminary development at Trilogy before its sale to Quadrant in 1998. Shea Homes says it's the nation's largest privately held home builder.
Kenny Dudunakis of the Seattle office of Hendricks & Partners negotiated the $24.25 million sale of The Colony/Mirror Woods, a 335-unit apartment property in Federal Way. CVI Mirror Colony LLC and Mirror Colony Apartments LLC of Los Angeles sold to VIF/CPP Colony LLC and VIF/CPP Mirror Woods LLC of Carlsbad, Calif.
L.J. Melody & Co., the real estate investment banking division of CB Richard Ellis, has arranged $13 million in financing for the Northpointe Office Building and the adjacent 24-Hour Fitness in Spokane. The 5-year-old office building is 97,000 square feet. David Stinebaugh of L.J. Melody's Seattle office secured the funding. Bear Stearns provided financing on behalf of Northpointe Office Building LLC and Vandervert Development.
Two trade publications, REAL Trends and National Relocation and Real Estate Magazine, both have ranked John L. Scott Real Estate the eighth most productive independent real estate company in the country. The publications use sales data and other criteria to rank companies. Last year, Scott agents closed more than 56,000 transactions worth more than $13 billion, making 2004 the most successful in the company's 74 years.
