Neil Walter Co.

Kevin Skillestad is a new principal in the Kent office of the commercial real estate brokerage Neil Walter Co., which also provides property management services. He joined the company in 2005 and works the South Seattle industrial market. Neil Walter also opened a Yakima office. It has been active in the Yakima market, handling the sale of a 510,000-square-foot Ace Hardware facility, and representing Ace in its move to a 780,000-square-foot facility in nearby Moxee. Yakima native Paul Stelzer will relocate from Kent to staff the new office.

Realogics

Realogics Brokerage in Seattle joined Sotheby's International Realty Affiliates' luxury real estate network. It is owned by Dean and Stacy Jones, and now does business as Realogics Sotheby's International Realty. Sam Cunningham is designated broker and co-owner. The firm is moving to a Belltown retail building it owns at 2715 First Ave. It has 17 sales associates, including Moira E. Holley and James H. Stroupe, co-founders of the company's Resale division. Realogics, through a separate operating company, markets condos, townhouses and bank-owned real estate, including bulk sales and foreclosures.

NWMLS

Jeff Foster of Advantage GMAC Real Estate in Moses Lake was elected 2010 chairman of the Board of Directors for Northwest Multiple Listing Service. Other new officers are Doug Davis of Hallmark Realty in Kirkland, vice chairman; Diedre Haines, Coldwell Bank Bain Associates of Snohomish County, treasurer; and Bobbie Petrone Chipman, Coldwell Banker Bain-Tacoma/Puyallup, secretary. Northwest MLS member-brokers also elected five directors: Pat Grimm of Windermere/Capitol Hill, Meribeth Hutchings of Windermere/Lake Stevens, Michael Skahen of Lake & Co. in Seattle; Darin Stenvers of Re/Max in Bellingham, and Frank Wilson of John L. Scott in Poulsbo.

Two NAIOP events

NAIOP's Developing Leaders Group will host a St. Patrick's Day party at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 11, at Kells Irish Restaurant & Pub, 1916 Post Alley, in Seattle. NAIOP's South Sound Committee will host a panel discussion about the cost of developing environmentally sustainable projects at an 8 a.m. March 12 breakfast at the Hotel Murano, 1320 Broadway, Tacoma.
