Kidder Mathews adds Warren

Kidder Mathews has hired Cam Warren. Warren will specialize in industrial leasing and sales out of the south Seattle office. Kidder Mathews has more than 500 employees in 10 offices in Washington, Oregon, and California. Annually Kidder Mathews does $3.2 billion in transactions, manages 30 million square feet of space, and conducts 1,300 appraisals.

Miller to Stewart Title

Scott Miller joined the Seattle office of Stewart Title Commercial Services as a senior business development officer. Miller will help grow Stewart's commercial business at local and national levels. Miller has more than 20 years of experience in title insurance, network marketing and mortgage lending. Stewart is a subsidiary of Stewart Information Services Corp., a global title insurance and real estate services company.

NAIOP taking nominations for Night of Stars

The Washington chapter of NAIOP is taking nominations for its annual Night of the Stars awards gala. Nominations can be made online and must include information on the project and the project team, a 500-word summary of why the project should be nominated and up to four photos. Those nominations are due July 15. Some projects will move onto the next phase, which will require more details. Finalists that make it through both stages will be notified on Aug. 26, and there will be final presentations to a panel of judges Sept. 10 and 11 at GLY Construction's Bellevue offices. Daniels is DSA's Downtown Champion

Downtown Seattle Association named Daniels Real Estate President Kevin Daniels the 2015 Downtown Champion at its annual meeting Wednesday. Daniels was honored for his vision of downtown and his emphasis on historic preservation. The award goes to an individual or organization that has made a positive impact on downtown. Last year's winner was Leslie Smith, executive director of Alliance for Pioneer Square. Daniels has more than 30 years of real estate experience, and is president of Daniels Real Estate and Nitze-Stagen & Co.

Attain Housing names interim ED

Pottmeyer

The Kirkland-based affordable housing group Attain Housing hired Terry Pottmeyer interim executive director, replacing Jennifer Barron, who resigned in May. Under Barron the organization changed its name from KITH to Attain Housing, and merged with Housing at the Crossroads. Pottmeyer was president and CEO of Friends of Youth. She will help find a permanent director.

NBS adds financial analyst

Lemley

NBS Financial Services hired Connor Lemley as a finance analyst in Seattle. Lemley graduated from the University of Washington with a political science degree, and worked at a political tech startup in Denver and for Seattle Mayor Ed Murray's campaign. He worked at McKee & Schalka Real Estate Appraisal Services and got certified in real estate finance and statistics. NBS Financial is part of NAI Norris, Beggs & Simpson, a real estate company in Portland.

NAIOP event on capital markets

NAIOP's June 17 breakfast meeting will focus on capital markets: what's driving them and where they are going. The event is at Four Seasons Seattle and starts at 7:45 a.m. Mike Wood, principal at NBS Financial Services will moderate a panel that includes Frank Bosl of CBRE, Kevin Catlett of Principal Real Estate Investors and Jason Flynn of Eastdil Secured.
