Louis Weisman, managing director of Berkadia's Seattle office, secured $26.3 million in financing for two apartment properties in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Epernay Apartments and Quail Run Apartments were built in 1985 and total 360 units. The 10-year loans are for FW Group of Mercer Island through Berkadia's Freddie Mac Program. Entities related to FW Group acquired the properties in 2008 for $25.8 million.

Dylan Welch has joined Jones Lang LaSalle's Bellevue industrial team as an associate on the tenant portfolio. Welch recently graduated from Washington State University with a degree in economics and interned at Enterprise Holdings. JLL has more than 230 offices in 80 countries and employs 58,000 people.

Real estate photography company VHT Studios hired Janeen Archer to as its Seattle area sales executive. Archer will lead the Pacific Northwest team in producing photography, video, floor plans and virtual tours. Archer worked as an advertising sales consultant at Sound Publishing's Kirkland Reporter. VHT Studios is based in Rosemont, Illinois, and says it has helped sell property worth more than $200 billion since it was founded in 1999.
The 22nd annual Washington Construction Law seminar is Sept. 17 and 18 at Grand Hyatt Seattle. Seattle King County Realtors is taking nominations for the 78th annual First Citizen Award until Sept. 11. The award honors people who have given back to the community and made life better for King County residents. Winners have come from humanitarian organizations, health and educational institutions, arts groups, and environmental and economic development causes. Last year's winner was Ted Baseler, president and CEO of Ste. Michelle Wine Estates.
Kenny Dudunakis of Berkadia’s Seattle office and Jim Jensen of the Tacoma office negotiated the sale of Arbor Square, a 135-unit apartment property at 606 Lilly Road N.E. in Olympia. Hamilton Zanze & Co. of San Francisco bought it from an affiliate of Bianco Properties of Creve Coeur, Missouri. The complex was built in 1989 and has a pool, hot tub, spa, gym, business center, clubhouse, game room, playground, tennis and racquetball courts.
