Kidder Mathews announced the elevation of four brokerage heads in different U.S. divisions. Here in Seattle, that means Brian Hatcher has been made regional president of the Pacific Northwest. In a statement, KM's Bill Frame said, “We appreciate the efforts of these leaders who have worked hard to dramatically grow our company for the benefit of our clients as well as our professionals and employees, who are the ownership of our firm.” Hatcher has been with KM for about 23 years.
The AIA Urban Design Forum will take place over beers this month. It's actually a joint event with the AIA's Public Policy Board. Discussion will center on housing, climate, transportation, and more. Apartment manager Indigo Real Estate Services has promoted Emi McKittrick to vice president of communications and development. She's been in the field for a decade, advising clients on the naming and positioning of over 50 multifamily developments. Indigo now manages about 87 properties with 10,948 units in our state, Hawaii, Illinois and Montana. It expects to add another half-dozen properties this year.
