PC Help, a computer service, sales and consulting firm, has purchased a 6,000-square-foot office building in Bellevue at 2281 116th Ave NE, Suite 100. PC Help installs and services networks, provides custom programming and delivers instant repairs for computers and printers. It is an authorized reseller for Compaq, Hewlett Packard and ALR.
SEATTLE -- Spectrum '96, the biennial meeting on nuclear and hazardous waste management, will take place at the Washington State Convention & Trade Center in Seattle Aug. 18-23. Many workshops and special events are planned, including a panel discussion on "Educating Future Environmental Management Professionals" from 1:30 to 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, at the Seattle Sheraton Hotel. Panel members will include: John Stanford, superintendent of Seattle Public Schools; Chuck Clarke, administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency's Region 10; Dr. Sam Smith, president of Washington State University; Bob Hughes of Bechtel; and Dr. Richard McCormick, president of the University of Washington (invited). Other highlights of Spectrum '96 include a workshop on how to do international environmental business from 1 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, and a workshop on strategic environmental management from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18. The theme of Spectrum '96 is "Accomplishments, Progress and Results" in the realm of radioactive and hazardous waste management and environmental remediation. The conference is designed to promote increased regional, national and international understanding of the U.S. Department of Energy's cleanup needs and business opportunities. More than 1,500 people are expected to attend the conference and learn about new environmental management approaches and technologies. More than 500 papers will be presented by environmental scientists, engineers, managers and policy makers. The conference will focus on Hanford, the USDOE's most contaminated site. Technical tours of Hanford will provide opportunities to see waste cleanup activities and advanced technology development in action. A limited number of seats are available for an all-day bus tour from Seattle to Hanford. This is the sixth biennial conference of its kind co-sponsored by the American Nuclear Society and USDOE. Mike Atkins and Bill Douglass have joined Toll Free Cellular as senior information systems project managers. Atkins will serve as IS senior project manager for the customer billing systems. He will manage communications and customization work with third-party vendors, and his responsibilities will include recommending solutions for cost effective software for market data analysis. Douglass will manage development of call processing software and will coordinate deliverables, establish milestones and identify issues and solutions across multiple projects.
Jennifer Boone has joined Piranha Productions, Inc. as account executive. Boone specializes in Apple's QuickTime VR and will help Piranha with the marketing of it to business websites on the internet. Piranha Productions, Inc. is a full-service video production and editing studio located in Seattle.

Boston Market will open its 27th restaurant in Washington state at 15842 First Avenue, Burien. The opening will be held on August 5. Of these 27 restaurants, 23 are in the Puget Sound region. Leadership Tomorrow, a nationally recognized civic leadership training program has announced the newly appointed officers and trustees to the Board of Directors. Gregg M. Boorman of Everett has been named construction sales coordinator West Coast for the surveying department of Nikon Inc. In the newly created position, Boorman will be responsible for sales of automatic levels, laser levels, digital theodolites and total stations to large construction companies and construction product dealers west of the Mississippi. Boorman, who has 14 years of experience in the field, will report to Robert Bailey, national sales manager. He will be based in Seattle.
According to "Travel Weekly," Mutual Travel now ranks 25th among U.S.-based travel agencies based on 1995 sales. Mutual Travel, which is headquartered in Seattle, has 33 offices in Washington state, 20 of which are on-site within the offices of large corporate client companies. Recent new corporate clients for Mutual Travel include Genie Industries, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Primus, Wizards of the Coast and Western Wireless.
