The EvansGroup has won many new accounts. Two new technology accounts have been acquired and will be handled by EvansGroup Technology and EvansGroup Public Relations. One is with Innova, a manufacturer of microwave technology, and the other is with Cellular Technical Services, a wireless telecommunications company. The agency will handle public relations and technobranding for both companies. The EvansGroup Public Relations' Environmental division won assignments from Seattle City Light to promote Public Power Week, and OMI/Mortensen. EvansGroup Public Relations' Products Promotion division renewed its contract with Wholesome & Hearty Foods, the makers of the Gardenburger.
The Bed and Breakfast Association of Seattle has elected officers for the 1996-97 calendar year. Carol Norton owner of the Prince of Wales Bed and Breakfast on Capitol Hill will serve as president. Susan Williams, vice-president, B.D. Williams House, Queen Anne; Ken Hayes, treasurer, Hill House, Capitol Hill; Karen Carbonneau, secretary, Chelsea Station on the Park, Fremont. The Bed and Breakfast Association of Seattle is comprised of 15 member inns located throughout the city. The Association operates a Bed & Breakfast hotline, 547-1020, which provides up-to-date information on availability at each member inn in Seattle. Advertising Production Association has elected Patti Morisset, president, Tonkin, Inc.; Pamela Shute, vice president, Microsoft Corporation; and Dan Sturgeon, treasurer, Heath Printers, to serve as the associations officers. The Advertising Production Association is primarily made up of print production managers from advertising agencies, corporate in-house agencies, publishing companies, design firms, and manufacturers of advertising-related materials.

Dean Slack has joined Rouche Laboratories as director of market intelligence. Slack previously worked for Galxo/Galxo Wellcome where he held a variety of market research and new product assessment positions.

Two new employees have joined the ranks of contractor E. Kent Halvorson. DWayne Poeppel is systems manager and Thomas Rossman is a project engineer. Poeppel has over 10 years of experience in computer network administration, cost control and construction project management. His new duties include interfacing construction and accounting functions, network administration, cost control and complete computer integration. He holds a degree in construction management from Central Washington University. Rossman is currently working on the firm's Overlake Christian Church and Seattle Christian School projects. He holds a degree in engineering physics from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

Skip Stocks has been named director of information services for Van Waters & Rogers' structural pest control supply business, Professional Products & Services. As director, Stocks will lead the team responsible for the development and maintenance of PP&S's homepage. Van Waters & Rogers Inc. distributes chemicals and allied products to the pest control industry. The offices are located in Kirkland.

Labtec Enterprises, a Vancouver-based computer speaker manufacturer, has received the Washington Technology Fast 50 Award. Labtec ranked 12th in the honors presented by Deloitte & Touche which recognize the firms that have achieved the highest percentage of revenue growth over the past five years. Labtec appointed Randy Lervold senior vice president of North American sales. He was director of sales and marketing for the consumer electronics division at Allsop, Inc.
Robert Cremin has been appointed executive vice president and chief operating officer of Esterline Technologies. Cremin will hold overall corporate responsibility for Esterline's 13 subsidiaries and will oversee the activities of the company's group vice presidents. Esterline manufactures engineered products for the commercial aircraft, aerospace and defense industries; automated equipment for the production of printed circuit boards and metal fabrication; and instrumentation for quality and process control.
John Johnson has joined the law firm of Christensen O'Connor Johnson & Kindness as Of Counsel. Johnson previously was a partner with Graybeal Jackson Haley & Johnson. He will continue his practice of intellectual property law emphasizing chemical, biotechnical, biomedical and mechanical patent and trademark prosecution, licensing and litigation.
