Jay E. Reeves has joined Sclater Kimball Architects as an associate, renewing his relationship with principals Alan D. Sclater and Alexander B. Kimball after 13 years with Martin Selig Real Estate. Reeves previously worked with Sclater and Kimball at Charles Kober Associates, Inc., Sclater Kimball's predecessor firm. Reeves served as a project manager and owner's representative at Martin Selig Real Estate. Sclater Kimball has also added three members to its architectural staff. Dean Harris was recently an architect and designer for JPC Inc. of Redmond. Scott M. Kunnanz previously worked as an architect and CAD manager for Davis Opfer Raab Architecture in Yakima. Andrew C. Wisdom will serve as the firm's CAD manager. He previously worked for Arca in Everett.

Marshall Leisten, vice president and equity analyst, covers database and Internet-related software companies. Kate Sharadin, vice president and equity analyst, covers health care companies. Dino Vendetti, vice president and equity analyst, covers telecommunication services companies. Robert Davidson, vice president and investment banker, focuses on corporate finance transactions with real estate investment trusts.

Leisure Care Retirement Communities announced that Craig S. Lytle is the newest member of the Leisure Care Advisory Board. Lytle is director of Product Planning and Applications for the ALtera Corp., a semiconductor company in the Silicon Valley. Bellevue-based Leisure Care manages 28 retirement communities in nine western states.
Four Puget Sound area companies, including Horizon Air, ONYX Software, Coinstar and Stevedoring Services of America, have been recognized in the second annual Enterprise Awards for Best Business Practices in Washington state. The awards recognize the best business practices among emerging small and mid-sized companies in one of four categories: customer satisfaction; motivating and retaining employees; building strategic alliances; and going international.

Micropath Inc., a computre asset management services and products firm, announced the appointment of Brian Watkins as Director of Operations and Finance. watkins will lead and manage the Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Information Systems, and Office Management teams. Micropath has also added two new Computer Inventory Project Specialists, Jeff Smith and Mark Knutsen. Both Smith and Knutsen will assist project managers and consultants by performing on-site hardware/software inventories, providing administrative support, and performing data input analysis.
