Horton Lantz Marocco, a Seattle-based advertising, design and Web firm, announced the addition of four to its team. Jason Hoppe joins the firm as director of electronic production. Hoppe's responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations of the electronic production group and providing technical and supervisory direction to digital artists. Dawn Goode joins the firm as an electronic production assistant. Julie Sargent is the firm's new office manager. Heather Bruce joins the firm as the receptionist.
NetCompliance, a Seattle-based provider of Web-based "paperless" compliance solutions and on-line worker training programs, will acquire B-Safe, a Southern California-based distributor of health and safety equipment, in a multi-million dollar deal. The multi-million dollar company, with offices in Santa Ana, Calif., and Las Vegas, sells personal protective, respiratory, hearing and other workplace safety equipment mandated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration OSHA.
Bo Bodrak has joined SecureEye.com, a Seattle-based provider of Internet/intranet-based, integrated building systems management, as head of business development for healthcare facilities. Bodrak has spent the last 17 years at Overlake Hospital in Bellevue in the healthcare security department, most recently holding the position of director of safety and security.

SaveDaily.com, a Web-based savings and investment solutions provider based in Irvine, Calif., has retained The Silver Co. to provide public relations counsel and services. The Silver Co. opened an office in Newport Beach, Calif., earlier this year to serve the rapidly growing market of Internet and early-stage tech companies in Southern California.
Owen Media, a Seattle-based high technology public relations agency, hired Bilepo Scott as an account supervisor and Christine Loddeke as an account coordinator. Scott will manage the PR efforts for the InfiniBand Trade Association. Loddeke will provide PR support for the connected products division of Intel, PhotoWorks, an online photo services provider, and InfiniBand. Previously, Scott was an associate account executive at Imagio/JWT in Seattle. Prior to coming to Owen Media, Loddeke, a 2000 Washington State University graduate, held an internship at Quinn/Brein Public Relations.
Primus, a Seattle-based provider of eCRM software which enables companies to manage all points of contact with their customers by providing self-service and assisted service through a single integrated system, announced the appointment of Ronald Stevens to chief financial officer. Stevens joins Primus from OnHealth Network, where he served as president and chief operating officer. Prior to OnHealth, Stevens was a senior vice president at Sierra On-Line, a maker of consumer software based in Bellevue.
Vertebrae, a Seattle-based Web site design firm, announced that Denis Kibby, former director of OEM Business Systems at Microsoft, has joined the firm as chief financial officer and Kyle Shepard, former senior designer with T3 Media has joined Vertebrae as an art director. Kibby spent eight years at Microsoft as controller of Microsoft's Licensing Subsidiary, director of financial operations for the OEM division and most recently as the director of OEM Business Systems. Shepard brings nearly 12 years of design and interactive media experience to Vertebrae.

HostPro, a Nampa, Idaho-based Web and applications hosting subsidiary of Micron Electronics, announced the appointment of Dennis Cavender as vice president and chief financial officer and Cliff Luckey as vice president of engineering and chief technology officer. Cavender will lead the finance team at HostPro and is responsible for planning, investor relations, treasury, accounting, tax and audit functions. Luckey comes to HostPro from an Austin, Texas-based Web hosting company, Aperian, where he served as CTO and vice president of Internet solutions.
