Shandwick International, a Bellevue-based company providing reputation management for technology-based clients, has hired Jennifer Culter as a new assistant account executive. Culter will work on proactive outreach and media relations for the Microsoft TV platform. She previously worked as an account coordinator for the Townsend Agency in San Diego.

Microserv Technology Services

Microserv Technology Services’ new National Logistics Center in Tukwila recently earned the ISO 9001 certification. This is the second Microserv facility to earn this certification; the company’s Kirkland headquarters became ISO 9001-certified in August 1999. The ISO 9001 certification designates that a company is dedicated to providing continuous improvements in delivering products and services. The 28,000- square-foot Microserv National Logistics Center opened in July in Tukwila and is the home for the company’s distribution, warehouse and computer repair center.

InterStar

Julie Cooper has joined InterStar, the marketing and public relations arm of Seattle-based ISNetworks, as an account assistant. ISNetworks is an e-commerce and information system software company specializing in digital signature technology.

@campus, a Kirkland-based provider of Web-based application platforms for the e-learning software market, has named Dr. Bob Edelbrock vice president and general manager of its Western region and Joe Bishouty vice president of operations and customer service. Edelbrock and Bishouty, together with former iTango Software executives and @campus founders, Antoine Tran, Emile Tran and Angie Hancock, will make up the company's executive management team. Edelbrock is former vice chancellor of information technology for San Diego Community Colleges. Bishouty comes to @campus from United Technical Services.

Computtel North America, a subsidiary of New Delhi-based Compunnel Software India, announced the opening of its North American headquarters in Bellevue. The company provides a range of services for the e-learning space including content customization, design and delivery, content conversion to the Internet platform, language translation services, platform enhancement and the full gamut of quality assurance processes and services. Other areas of focus are e-commerce applications development, Web site design, corporate content delivery and consulting.

Service Stop, a Seattle-based company providing Web-based employee incentive programs, has appointed Christine McClure to director of marketing and has promoted Steve Gappa to director of vendor development. McClure will head up the company's strategic marketing programs including branding, advertising, public relations and marketing communications. Gappa will be responsible for building and overseeing strategic partnerships with local, regional and national merchants
