WOODINVILLE — Musician Michael Franti will perform at Chateau Ste Michelle tomorrow, starting at 7 p.m.
Franti is known for his political activism and high-energy shows. Rolling Stone recently premiered a video for Franti's song “Same As It Ever Was,” which he wrote in response to the struggle for civil rights.
Also appearing are Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, a hard-edged funk band that uses hip-hop beats and improvisation in a jazz tradition.
Trombone Shorty began his career as a band leader at age 6, and toured internationally at age 12 before joining Lenny Kravitz' horn section at 19. He performed at the Grammy Awards and at the White House for Black History Month.
Tickets are at VividSeats.com starting at $55.
