After Hours: Art Car Party in Fremont June 17-19

The Art Car Party costs $30 and covers a weekend of tours, sightseeing, food and drinks. Ticket proceeds will help bring art car artists here from around the country.

SEATTLE — Seattle Art Cars is holding a three-day Art Car Party June 17-19 during Fremont Solstice weekend at restaurants and venues around Seattle to raise money to bring art car artists from around the country to Seattle.

A $30 ticket covers admission to a variety of parties, tours, sightseeing and other events all weekend. The Art Car Adventure starts Friday with a guided tour of sites such as Archie McPhee's, the Fremont Troll and the Hat & Boots in Georgetown, followed by dinner in Ballard.

During the Fremont Solstice Parade on Saturday there will be an Art Car VIP tent with refreshments, and dinner in Fremont after the parade. Sunday evening there will be closing party at a private home with live music and a chili dog dinner.
