SEATTLE — The musical comedy “A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder” runs July 12-31 at The 5th Avenue Theatre, telling the story of Monty Navarro, a distant heir to a family fortune who tries to jump the line of succession — by any means necessary.
Navarro must juggle his numerous romantic entanglements and the constant threat of landing behind bars. Kevin Massey is Monty Navarro. Kristen Beth Williams plays Sibella Hallward and Adrienne Eller plays Phoebe D'Ysquith.
It played on Broadway from 2013-14 and received 10 Tony nominations and four awards, as well as a Grammy nomination for Best Musical Show Album.
The New York Times said, “Gentlemen's Guide will lift the hearts of all those who've been pining for what sometimes seems a lost art form” and Time Magazine said, “just as I was about to give up on musicals, along comes A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder!”
Tickets start at $36 at www.5thavenue.org, or call the Box Office at (206) 625-1900 or visit at 1308 Fifth Avenue.
