WASHINGTON (AP) — Eleven restaurants in Washington — and one in tiny Washington, Virginia — have received Michelin stars in the French company's first-ever dining guide for the nation's capital.
Michelin announced the recipients of its coveted stars on Thursday. The French company's famously anonymous inspectors award one, two or three stars after multiple visits to a restaurant, and the ratings are known as career-makers for chefs.
