SRG Partnership promoted architect Uwe Bergk to associate in the Seattle office. Bergk's projects have included renovation at Pike Place Market. He was born and raised in Germany, where he received a master's degree in interior architecture. He has more than 20 years of experience, including as an instructor and department chair at the Art Institute of Seattle. SRG provides programming, planning, architecture and interior design.

Wilson is a project manager in the Spokane office, and is working on Selah Middle School. Sydnor is director of studios in the Los Angeles office. She is project manager for the Long Beach Unified School District's High School No. 2. Barnes, an accountant in the Spokane office, does payroll, benefits and taxes. Wrigley is a marketing coordinator in the Seattle office, and leads marketing and proposal efforts.

Seattle-based Quantum Consulting Engineers hired Frank Unocic as project manager. Unocic has more than 15 years of structural engineering experience, and is focusing on residential and educational projects. Previously, he was the principal for Pyrgos Engineering. Quantum provides structural, seismic and structural engineering.

Jacobs Associates civil engineering firm promoted Keith Abey to senior associate. Abey is a structural engineer in Seattle, providing design review, numerical modeling, forensic engineering support and advice on historic structures. He has nearly 20 years of experience in structural analysis, design and construction administration, and is lead structural engineer on Sound Transit's North Link and University Link.

WHPacific added Lynn Iaquinta to its northwest operations as regional transportation director. Iaquinta has experience in alternative delivery methods, program management, design-build, construction management and bridge engineering. She will focus on client relations, project oversight and business development, and has secured a role for WHPacific on a team pursuing the Columbia River Crossing project. WHPacific is a Native American-owned architecture and engineering firm.

Shaw works on public transportation, urban redevelopment and higher education projects, including the University of Washington's Montlake Triangle. Febus has 14 years of experience in the residential market, and is working with brokers and banks in assessing distressed plats, and managing design and entitlement. He is managing the Fairfax Hospital IPD in Kirkland. KPFF provides civil and structural engineering.

Anderson has six years of mixed-use, commercial and residential structural engineering experience. He is working on Curve Apartments in the University District and the Angeline multifamily complex in Columbia City, both for Security Properties. He has worked for LDC Engineering. Moody has three years of engineering and drafting experience and is working on several single-family houses. She has worked at DCI Engineers. Maki has 22 years of experience that includes marketing for A/E/C service industries in the Seattle area. She will market, help find teaming opportunities and manage proposals. Maki has worked at Lydig Construction. Swenson Say Faget has offices in Seattle and Tacoma.

Freiheit & Ho Architects hired Zach Adams as IT manager and Robert Medina, Michael Fischer and Wyatt O'Day as architectural designers in the Kirkland headquarters. Adams has 14 years of experience in the architectural field, focusing on information technology, Revit, AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop and Deltek Vision. Medina has experience at a civil engineering firm and is working toward his master's in architecture at Washington State University. Fischer is a University of Oregon graduate, and has experience as an architectural designer. O'Day is working on the North Lot project in Seattle. He holds a master of architecture and urban design degree, and has experience at architecture firms.

Patrick R. Goodman and Elissa A. Peters joined HDJ Design Group to provide civil engineering design. Goodman worked with the firm's survey crews in his summer off from Oregon State University in 2008. Peters has eight years of experience in stormwater plans, stormwater detention, permitting for construction and stormwater elements, retention and water quality facilities, as well as utility and road design for residential and commercial projects. She and Goodman are project engineers with the transportation and site development teams. Vancouver-based HDJ provides civil engineering, land survey, land use planning and landscape architecture.

Environmental Science Associates hired civil engineer Curtis Loeb as a senior managing associate in the Northwest water group. Loeb will work in the Portland office. He has 15 years of experience conducting hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for fluvial and estuarine marsh habitat projects. He has worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and was a research engineer with the Center for Ecological Health Research. ESA provides environmental consulting and planning.
