Bauer is a leader in the interior design group, working with architects and landscape architects. Gorkiewicz is working on Elan Uptown Flats. Cowgill is a lead designer whose work includes Yesler Terrace's Raven Terrace. Holmes has worked on Westlake Steps, a mixed-use project with 800 housing units.

In its Seattle office, Sazan Group hired Chad Tilley as a senior project manager, Kim Alger as a contracts and finance administrator, and Nemy Antonio as a senior plumbing designer. Tilley has 25 years of electrical engineering experience, with clients that include Microsoft and Safeco. Alger has over 20 years of finance support and executive administration experience. Antonio returns to Sazan with over 25 years of plumbing and piping systems design experience in health care, education, commercial, military, educational and industrial projects. The firm provides mechanical and electrical engineering, information technology systems design, MEP commissioning and owner representation, and also has a Portland office.

In its Spokane office, ALSC Architects promoted Kris Jeske, Indy Dehal and Chad Schmidt to associate principal. Jeske is project manager on the Mullan Road Elementary School remodel and addition. Dehal has been with ALSC since 2000, with projects that include WSU Wine Science Center in Richland. Schmidt has been with the firm for eight years, with projects that include Martin Stadium expansion at Washington State University. ALSC provides planning and design services, and also has a Coeur d'Alene office.

Technology project manager Nathan Ellis of Stantec was awarded the Registered Communications Distribution Designer designation. In 2013, Ellis joined the Lynnwood office of Sparling, which is now part of Stantec. It provides planning, engineering, architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, surveying, environmental sciences, project management and project economics services.

The Blueline Group

The Blueline Group hired Lyndsey Munkel as an engineer. She has two years of engineering experience as a designer in the transportation industry and holds a civil engineering degree from Lafayette College. Blueline provides civil engineering and planning services for land use projects.

Eric LeVine joined the Seattle office of Gensler as brand design and environmental graphics director. He has 26 years of design experience, and was a principal at NBBJ. During his 14 years there, his clients included Boeing, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Google. At Gensler, he is working with Microsoft, Alaska Airlines and Crescent Heights. Gensler said projects he collaborated on won international awards and his work has been published in The New York Times and Fast Company. Gensler is a global design, planning and consulting firm.

In its Seattle office, IA Interior Architects hired Leslie Edgerton as a project manager, Maria Felenyuk as an environmental graphic designer, Sara Muchow as an intermediate designer, and Reginald Curtis and Brandon Reimers as designers. Edgerton has over 20 years of experience in project management and design. Felenyuk has more than 10 years of experience on museums and online retail. Muchow has five years of experience, and will work on corporate interiors. Curtis has over 10 years of experience in user experience design and architecture. Reimers has more than five years of experience in design, management and architecture. IA provides interior architecture and workplace strategies.

McDonald holds bachelor's and master's degrees in civil engineering from the University of Washington. Hager has seven years of experience. Zuger-Cheney has seven years of experience in marketing and business development. Campbell has two years of experience in land use planning. AHBL provides civil and structural engineering, landscape architecture, community planning and land surveying, with offices also in Spokane and the Tri-Cities.
